wordfence installation failed

    I was having problems with wordfence, so de-activated it (I checked the box about removing wordpress data on deactivation) and then deleted it. I tried to reinstall wordfence. I get the following message:

    “Destination folder already exists. D:/websites/P/mydomainname/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/

    Plugin install failed.”

    I go to the site with filezilla and it is not in the plugins folder. What to do?
