    Hi there,

I’m having an issue with Wordfance plugin. I’m having my theme file css theme-name/style.css in my sourcecode. When I turn on Wordfance it adds version number at the end of it “ver=9a51418eefc63d7404c2e26fc952399e”

This file is different than original style.css

How can clear or update this version number and prevent this from happening?

    Thanks

    Hi @dejan85,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The modified query string itself shouldn’t cause cache problems, but you can turn off Hide WordPress version to prevent replacing the ver= string. Wordfence only replaces the version string if it matches the WordPress version on the site, so you may have caching problems after that resulting file gets cached.

Let me know if you continue to have issues.

    Hi Tiffany,

Tuning off Hide WordPress version solved the issue.

    Thanks a lot.
