I am having an issue logging into my account. I am prompted to enter a 2FA from WordFence, that I never installed, now I am not able to access the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and I have access to that, as well as admin access to the WordPress Site, just cannot do INTO it without the 2FA WordFence. Any help on how I can get access back to my site?

Absolutely @xrismartinez, I can assist with that.

It’s unusual that you’re prompted for 2FA if it was never configured, but regardless you can rename the the site’s /wp-content/plugins/wordfence plugin folder to “wordfence_bak” (without quotes). This should let you access and log into your site normally with username and password only. You can then rename the folder back to “wordfence” afterwards and refresh your admin area to see its menu in the sidebar again.

You’d normally need to reconfigure 2FA if it was previously enabled at that point, but taking no action should keep it disabled.

I hope that helps you out!
    Peter.
