Hi @satimis, thanks for reaching out.

You can test Wordfence’s Live Traffic is acting as it should by temporarily changing the toggle to “ALL TRAFFIC” rather than “SECURITY ONLY” and clicking around your site to see if regular page hits are logged. You can always change this back afterwards.

I find a good test for blocking is to enter?/made-up-page.php?in?Wordfence > All Options > Advanced Firewall Options > Immediately block IPs that access these URLs?and visit it from my phone with mobile data (so I don’t block the same wifi network I’m using for my main device). You should see the Wordfence block page on your phone and the corresponding security event in Live Traffic if everything is working as it should. You can always manually unblock the IP afterwards from Wordfence > Blocking too if your block times are lengthy.

Let us know how you get on!
    Peter.

    Hi wfpeter

    Thanks for your advice.

    My problem is:
    1) I receive an email warning, saying.my website was attacked on MM/DD/YEAR by XXX
    2) On the captioned website, Wordfence -> Tools only showing Admin IP address, not the attacker’s

But on other websites all attackers’ ip addresses are displayed.

Please advise how to fix it. Thanks

    Regards
