    Hi.

Today they hacked one of my sites, I think I already solved it.

I would like to add a .htacces in wp-admin with a permission for my IP.

I did, but at one point I saw a message that wordfence couldn’t do the scan.

Maybe it will work if I add Wordfence scan IP addresses as well.

    It’s possible?

    Maybe 69.46.36.28?

    Thanks for your help.`

Hi @vitodumas, thanks for reaching out to us.

You can view the IPs that Wordfence and Wordfence Central use at the following page: https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/#servers-and-ip-range

I am concerned that your site was compromised though and we have a comprehensive guide where you can check whether the correct steps have been taken to clean it:

    https://www.wordfence.com/docs/how-to-clean-a-hacked-wordpress-site-using-wordfence/

Make sure and get all your plugins and themes updated and update WordPress core too. If you are on an older branch (WordPress 4.x etc) because you wanted to wait before installing the latest version because of Gutenberg or a custom theme compatibility you still need the latest update in that version. Those can be found here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/download/releases/
WordPress sometimes patches their older releases if they find a vulnerability so make sure to update your version if needed. We, of course, recommend that you update to the latest version.

As a rule, any time I think someone’s site has been compromised I also tell them to update their passwords for their hosting control panel, FTP, WordPress admin users, and database. Make sure and do this.

Additionally you might find the WordPress Malware Removal section in our free Learning Center helpful.

If you are unable to clean this on your own there are paid services that will do it for you. Wordfence offers one and there are others. Regardless if you choose to clean it yourself or let someone else do so, we recommend that you make a full backup of the site beforehand.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

I am sorry and apologize for the delay in responding.

I have not received an email with the reply notice.

Also, today is the second time that Wordfence has disappeared from the list of installed plugins.

Like the previous time, I renamed the directory inside / plugins and reinstalled it.

In central Wordfence, it appears with a connection error. and when clicking on "Retry Site Connection", it responds "The server encountered an error processing your request.
    Not Found "

On the web it appears as connected.

With this same I opened a thread today. I apologize for repeating myself, but the subject makes me nervous.

    Thanks for answering.

`Two WordPress core files modified with the new scan when reinstalling Wordfence.
registration.php and wp-links-opml.php. The latter for the second time.

I have changed my passwords and I always have everything updated …

    A disaster.

I thought that with the premium license I would have a break, but no.

    Sorry…

I’ve already been on that site, but I couldn’t find the right place to make a query and that’s why I ended up in the photo.

It is very confusing for me.
