Does Wordfence also scans the database in all tables for scripts, php code fx?
Or is it only php files on server?

Hi @kimdg, thanks for getting in touch about Wordfence’s features.

Scans will check your posts and comments tables in addition to your filesystem when looking for possible threats.

You can read more about the options available to you and what they do during scans here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/options/#general-options

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Okay – I now read your link, but it does not say you are scanning other tables in the database (fx custom ones)
Is it possible too enable scans on other tables with string/text columns?

    Hi @kimdg,

We do only scan for issues in specific tables. Custom tables or tables added by other plugins/themes are not scanned.

    Thanks again,
    Peter.
