Wordfence security – Falcon Engine

  • Is Virtue Theme working flawless with Wordfence security plugin? Wordfence has Falcon Engine caching it says it speed up the site 30 to 50 times.
    Sounds like a spam. Do You recomend this plugin in general for Virtue theme. I have 2 shops on Virtue theme working and i want to avoid any problems.

  • I don’t believe that the plugin is “spam,” but that sounds like some marketing/bogus statement to me. 30 to 50 times faster sounds a little silly, as there are so many factors that come into play on a site to site basis when it comes to speed.

    We usually recommend using WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache for caching.

    I have not tried much with falcon engine and admittedly don’t have much experance with word-fence.
    I personally usually recommend sucuri net (they have a free plugin to help harden wordpress). And paying for there cloud caching can really speed up your site. But how many times is always going to depend on where your starting from.

    Anybody tried that falcon engine on Wordfence security plugin on Virtue Theme?
    I have already installed the wordfence plugin on my other shop but I have just enabled basic caching. It’s working good.

    I am still tempted to switch on – Enable Wordfence Falcon Engine.
    Should I expect problems with that caching with Virtue theme?

    No you shouldn’t expect problems caching works fine with virtue.
