Wordfence Site Caching setting not changing

  • Hello,

    I Enable Wordfence Falcon Engine on one of my sites.
    But the changes to the .htaccess file knocked down the site.

    I’m trying to change the setting to “Disable all performance enhancements” OR to Enable Basic Caching but the setting won’t save and the site is returning:
    “Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

    Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
    Every few days now.

    I have to enter the .htaccess file via FTP to restore the setting.

    I tried to deactivat Wordfence using the “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation?” on the main options but it didn’t work.
    Please let me know how to solve this.
