Wordfence still showing blocked users

    I’ve changed the login URL on 4 of my sites but Wordfence is still reporting as many failed login attempts on each site as it was before.

    I was hoping that this plugin would mean that scripted hack attempts would end up at a 404 page rather than still being able to attempt a login.

    Maybe I was expecting too much?

    I used this plugin for the same reason. Maybe it’s a problem with Wordfence? I am also still getting a large amount of failed login attempts with Wordfence. I have checked the url and it directs to the 404 page, why are the hackers still able to attempt to login?
