    Ok this is super weird…
    So at 10:45AM I login into my admin, and as usual I get an email alert that a user with admin rights logged in. All is cool. Me happy.
    At around 11:45AM I once again login into my admin, and no email alert. All is not cool. Me not happy.
    Test emails send OK. They arrive.
    All other emails from server work OK (contact form 7).
    Login Alerts – NO.
    Any help?

    I should note that I haven’t imposed any limits on how many email alerts to send in an hour. It’s empty.

    I only get an admin login notice if I log in from a different IP, or if a different admin has logged in since my last login.

    Do you have another place you can try to log in from? (Possibly a phone or tablet that is on a cell network, and not on your local wifi?)

    I will check to be sure if this is normal — I hadn’t noticed it before.

    I found that Wordfence avoids sending duplicate alert emails within 1 hour, including the admin login emails, but only if the email message is the same, including the username and the IP address that caused it. So, if someone logged in from another IP, you would still get another alert email.

    I waited over an hour and tried logging in again from the same IP, and did get an alert email as usual. I don’t think this can be changed in your settings, as it is separate from the “maximum email alerts to send per hour.” I think this is generally ok, as long as only duplicate messages are being excluded — if you see a need to get duplicate alerts (at least for admin logins), let me know and I will pass the request on to the developers.
