Hi There… I use backupbuddy to make regular backups of my websites, on one site they have stopped and it appears to be a particular table linked to wordfence that is causing the issue – it is ‘wp_wfissues’
When i check this table on phpmyadmin in Cpanel it is coming up as corrupted, even after performing a repair.

Any thoughts on how I can sort this issue?

Also Backupbuddy support have asked me to find out if this particular table is crucial to backups and restoring a site? if not I should be able to set the backup to ignore this table.

    would appreciate some help/thoughts/advice

    Many Thanks

  • Hi @vizaldiggard,

The “wfIssues” table is used to store issues, both warnings and critical issues that appear in Wordfence after a scan.

In case the content of that table is lost or deleted, and if you’re not able to restore it, Wordfence will still work perfectly fine; it’s just that issues reported in the latest scan will no longer appear.

Hi There, Thanks for your reply.. does this mean now that going forward, the scan will not show any errors or problems?.

    Hi @vizaldiggard,

If that table is emptied, the latest reported issues will no longer appear; however a new scan will report them again –if they haven’t been fixed or ignored.
