Wordfence takes 3.8 seconds to load

Hello,

I am new to Wordfence. Can you tell me what is the trick to getting it to load quickly? Right now, it is trying to access a log file when my home page loads up and according to page speed it takes 3+ seconds to complete the request.

Is there any documentation on what are the most efficient settings to use for Wordfence? The request causing the problem is
