I have been running Wordfence on a number of sites successfully for some time.
I have just been informed by my host, MDD hosting, that englishconfidenceunlocked.com, a new site of mine, came under heavy brute force attack a little while ago:

” For example, of the last 17453 views, 10522 have been to your wp-login.php.
These logins are spread across your domain(s) as follows:
Domain: mail.englishconfidenceunlocked.com or englishconfidenceunlocked.com has 10400 wp-login.php accesses out of 16989 page views”

I went to my site and had a look at Wordfence. It picked NOTHING up. No evidence at all of anything going wrong.

I contacted MDD again and told them…they said they saw what they did and put in place measure to make my site more secure.

I left question on Plugin support page.. Got a response but that did not help…since then, week later, nothing!
    Useless product and useless support

Well Wyfan, the reason is that I got NO response for 6 days from you or anyone else. I believe that for the kind of issue I experienced this is not reasonable –
especially when I see that you have responded to others within a very acceptable time period. I certainly dont like to do this ( and have never done this before) but I believe I had little choice

So I decided to up the ante.
