wordfence-waf.php 500 error

    I installed wordfence 7.1.3 but I didn’t configure auto_prepend_file . When I deleted wordfence, there were 500 errors on the site. Check the log is this:

    PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required '/data/wwwroot/xxx.xxx.com/wordfence-waf.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php54/lib/php') in Unknown On line 0" while reading response header from upstream, ......

    However my php.ini configuration is like this auto_prepend_file =
    Wordfence-waf.php is not configured.

    I’m using nginx and there is no .htaccess file.

    How can I fix this error? Thank you

    Are you sure you didn’t optimize the firewall? do you have “.user.ini” file in the root directory of your website? check if it has “auto_prepend_file” string.

    @wfalaa Sorry, I didn’t notice that the new version of wordfence created the .user.ini file. I have seen it and the problem has been solved. Thank you.
