WordPres 3.9.2 Update Looks Successful But Is Not

Upon logging into my WordPress site, I got a message to upgrade to WordPress 3.9.2. The automatic update appeared to work just fine and no error message was shown. Then I got welcomed to WordPress 3.9.1 and still see the message about updating WordPress. Why would the update seem to be successful but not really? What might interefere? Please help!
