WordPress 1.5.2 Logout/Login bug

I know that there a many posts related logging out of OLDER version of WordPress, but I thought I might create a ‘newer’ thread. I was suffering the logout problem where when you click logout you go to https://site/wp-login?action=logout and its a blank page. After playing around with it I did the following:

backed up my db
trashed the current
re-installed wordpress 1.5.2
re-added my personal account (and promoted privs)
imported the following tables: wp_categories, wp_comments, wp_linkcategories, wp_links, wp_post2cat, wp_postmeta, and wp_post
applied my theme
activated the Google suggest plugin

Everything worked fine at that time, I logged out of admin and logged in to my personal account. However as soon as I updated my personal profile (AIM, Yahoo, profile, no password change) I was taken to a page with the wordpress logo, a run time, and a link to the forum and codex. Now I’m back to the original problem, can’t logout or login. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
