WordPress 2.7 blank “wp-login” page and “www” in my URL no longer works

  • I installed WordPress 2.7, but right now I cannot access the admin area. When I put in my name and password, it takes me to a blank “/wp/wp-login.php” page.

    Also, whereas my URL used to work whenever people would type our “www” or not, now it only works when leaving out the “www”. When you use it now, it takes you to a blank screen.

    Ex.:

    https://listentoleon.net

    https://www.listentoleon.net

    I am about to re-install the whole thing, but I need someone to help me get to the bottom of this.

    Did you install or did you upgrade?

    If you installed, I would try reinstalling. Also, if you can, see if you can look at any server error logs that could have been generated.

    If you upgraded, then it’s probably an issue with the plugins. You will need to revert back to your old install, disable all plugins, then reupgrade.
