WordPress 2.8.6 IE 7 error

  • Just upgraded and now my IE 7 loads the admin dashboard and there is a error listed on the bottom of the screen. There was no error on version 2.8.5.

    The error is done, but errors on page and the details is

    Line 7
    Char 1
    Error : Object doesn’t support this property or method
    Code : 0

    It appears my dashboard is functional and I can click on other things but no matter what I click on like if I go to the post page the same error comes up.

    Anyone else having this issue? Didn’t have it in the last version.

  • Is there any mentioning of folder and what file?
    I also just made the upgrade and don’t have this error.
    Made a manual upgrade via FTP.

    Hi,

    Check with these options:

    -> Redo the upgrade and upgrade manually.
    -> Disable all the plugins
    -> Change your theme to default to rules out theme level issue
