wordpress 3.0 autosave

I’m the other way around. I hate to lose even one second’s work. I NEED autosave to be instantaneous , i.e. once per second or two, and keep the last 10 versions. This option (time to save/ revisions kept) ought to be a user chosen option. This is SO CRUCIAL. I’m beginning to seriously dislike the WordPress editor because I have lost so much work (particularly if you expand the screen and it doesn’t even have a manual save option).

Tried any of these? I haven’t.
