WordPress 3.0 – Uploading custom headers not working

  • I have been trying to upload a custom header to my wordpress site.

    I’ve gone to the “header” tab under the “appearances” menu, uploaded my custom header, and it shows in the admin panel that the image has uploaded fine. I save the changes, but the header does not change on the site.

    I am currently using the TwentyTen 1.0 theme, but I have tried this on 2 other themes and have the same problem.

    Am I missing something?

    I also tried to change the header to another one of the default headers that come with the theme – also in the headers tab under “appearances”. That also does not show up on the site.

    Is this because there is a delay in the changes coming through on the site? On the old WordPress, changes made in the admin panel came through on the site immediately.

    I disabled the WP Super Cache plugin and it resolved the problem.
