WordPress 3.1.2 -alpha after updating to 3.1.1

  • After i updated one of my installations from 3.1 to 3.1.1 (the update process indicate that it downloaded de wordpress 3.1.1 zip file, in the wordpress dashboard is shown as version 3.1.2-alpha.
    Not issue to report so far, but Why my wordpress installation was updated to a alpha version instead of the last stable version?
