WordPress 3.5 and photo sizes
-
Hi, we have just upgraded to wordpress 3.5. We have two related issues:
Firstly – Many of the photos we had inserted into our blog posts are now resized to be very small. See this page as an example: https://thelittlegreenhouse.net/2012/12/11/these-are-a-few-of-my-fave-vintage-things-skirt-edition/. With the theme that we are using (Chameleon from elegant themes), we were inserting the photos at the large size and then using the % setting to set them to 60% of their size so that the photos didn’t overlap the right hand side bar. How can we fix the photos so they go back to a more suitable size? See this page which shows suitable photo sizes: https://thelittlegreenhouse.net/2012/12/15/guest-recipe-frews-pumpkin-and-chickpea-curry/
Secondly – Now, when inserting photos, if you insert them at the large size, they overlap the side bar. If you try to reduce them in size, they go to this smaller size as shown in the link above. There doesn’t seem to be any in between sizes. The only way I can get the photos to be inserted at a suitable size is to play around with the photo sizes in a photo editor program before uploading to wordpress. This is what I did to get these photos to a suitable size: https://thelittlegreenhouse.net/2012/12/15/guest-recipe-frews-pumpkin-and-chickpea-curry/
How are we supposed to be working with photos now to get the correct sizing? Thanks.
