    Will the password for the access to the MySQL database, which is in the file wp-config, be encrypted in the WP 3.7.1 Beta 2?

    No. Why would it be?

    The web application needs a way to decrypt it – and if it can do that, there’s nothing to stop a hacker from doing the same, especially since it would be open-source HOW it decrypts.
