WordPress 3.8.1 & NGG Causing Massive Memory Issue

    After WordPress updated to 3.8.1 my blog keeps braking because of NGG going over the memory limit. After looking into extensively it seems that something in 3.8.1 is breaking next gen or that it is simply not compatible its come down to the extent that i cant even load the dashboard if the plugin is activated even though i have increased the memory limit to 128 MB.

    Running latest version of PHP, MYSQL and WP as well as cent OS 6 and apache. We are running the latest version of the plugin 2.040

    Please advise
