I have posted this before, but got replies. So I am trying again.

I have added two galleries on a page on a client site which are linked to the file to display in the default lightbox. However, when I click to view the images in say the first Gallery on the page, the lightbox is giving me the option to view all the images in all the Galleries on the page.

Is there a way to stop this?

I have tried using the ‘Exclude’ option in the shortcode, but this did not work. Here are examples of my shortcode

    [gallery link="file" columns="2" ids="1054,1053"]

    [gallery link="file" columns="2" ids="1058,1057" exclude="1054,1053"]

    Any help would be appreciated.

There is no default lightbox in WordPress, so what lightbox plugin are you using?

    Esmi,

Your right! And so now I have figured its a theme problem.
Your question has given me the answer.

    Thanks very much

Glad I was able to help – albeit indirectly. ??
