WordPress 3.9 Installation problem on Hostgator

Hello all

Hi, I took advice from my previous question on this forum and managed to install WP using QuickInstall at HostGator where I am paying for hosting. I have a registered domain name also through Hostgator.
I have allegedly successfully installed WP…but when I go to my site, I just get the “oops google chrome cant find ” and don’t get a WP log-in even when I put ‘wp-admin’ at the end of the URL as advised in HG’s help video. Tried reinstalling WP, still the same issue….meaning I still can’t use WP at my domain to start creating my blog there.

I would appreciate your advice very much and please note that I am a newbie and am not familiar with a lot of the lingo here.

I checked my billing account and it says the name server is ns1.hostgator.com and also my lock status is locked although I understand this is only for domain transfers and shouldn’t restrict me from using my blog.

I installed WP 10 days ago so it shouldn’t take that long to propogate.

Please help.
