WordPress 4.6.1 is not PHP 5.6 compatible – no details?

  • We have WordPress 4.6.1 installed on our website. When we run the PHP Compatibility Checker plugin with PHP 5.6 selected we get the message “Your WordPress install is not PHP 5.6 compatible.” There aren’t any details (i.e. No “view details” link) so I’m not sure what updates are necessary to make WP 4.6.1 compatible with PHP 5.6. Do you have any advice?

    This makes it seem like there was an error or something went wrong. When you ran the scan, did you get any errors in your error log?
