There will be an update coming soon fixing some bugs and possibly adding some functionality, which will be tested on WordPress 4.7.

I always review the WordPress changelog for any possible incompatibilities, and use it on my own updated WordPress site. I don’t always do a full test, however.

    Dear @erikvona

Better care for this important education than nerding WordPress!

Luckily your plugin is very simpel and thus easier to test… I didn’t test the “add to every page” feature, but I added code to a specific page, and it worked just fine in WP 4.7. Inspecting the code, did not reveal any weird stuff, the code is, as expected, inserted right before the </head> tag.

If it works fine on you personal WordPress 4.7 site as well, I’d say its reasonable to claim WordPress 4.7 compatibility on the WordPress plugin site, but that’s just my opinion.

    Have a great weekend!

Thanks. New version just got released, so I’ve done a full compatibility test (about the same you did, plus install/uninstall, with WP-debug on). Added the compatibility tag, marking this as resolved.

Check the changelog if you want to know more.

Thanks for your support and interest.

That’s great Erik! – Didn’t test the new shortcode feature (I the plugin for a simple <meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”240″> for automatic page refesh), and that works well in version 1.4 also.. Reassuring to have the author verifying compatibility in addition to ones own tests…

A merry Christmas to you ?? Bjarne
