WordPress 4 – read more option

  • In the new WordPress 4 update, the line that used to show up in the editor is no longer visible.

    This is really annoying. Can this please be altered.

  • Are you using the Text editor instead of the Visual editor? If so, do you see a button that just says “more” (2nd from right, in between the Code and Close Tags buttons)? That’s the one to use for Read more… when using the Text editor. Or is that not showing up?

    If not, it could be your theme causing the problem.

    The buttons are visible on both Text and Visual mode. My issue is that the line viewable in Visual mode is no longer there.

    I’m sure it’s not my theme as it wasn’t an issue before the WP4 update.
