    Hi
i’ve install the plugin with wordpress 4.0
    Unfortunately:
i’cant click (i click and nothing appears) the button PopUp Feature Image
the button “preview po up” doesn’t work
it doesn’t load the “Displyand option”

so the conditions remain always “always show PopUp”

  • Hi @francescapenso,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

I have tested it on my test site using latest version of WordPress PopUp plugin & WordPress 4.0 and found it’s working fine.

Try deleting and reinstalling the WordPress PopUp plugin.

Can you check the javascript console for errors?

Find information about how to open JavaScript browser console :

    https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/8525/how-to-open-the-javascript-console-in-different-browsers
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

Let me know what errors if any you are getting.

You can just try on your development site using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.
