WordPress 4.2 does not work with JSON API 1.1.1

  • Hi, installed WP4.2 and noticed that the API does not work. the main /api says it works, but get_page does not work. When I saw that I downgraded to WP 4.1.2 quite rapidly, so I did not perform any other tests.

    I noticed that WP4.2 required a database upgrade, maybe it has something to do with it.

  • It works with WordPress 4.2 and with latest version 4.2.2 as well..

    When I create a new installation (staging) with this plugin + WP 4.2.2 it works indeed.

    But when I upgrade my production server, it does give me back a ‘ok’ message on /api but any further requests (for example /api/get_recent_posts) gives back an empty page…

    You should then deactivate your other plugins one by one to find out which plugin is conflicting with the JSON API.
