WordPress 4.3 (and above) removes br tags

  • After I upgraded from 4.2.7 to 4.5.1 I can’t use multiple lines breaks (br tags) in my posts/pages. WordPress removes the tags completely. I use “text” not “visual” when writing posts.

    It looks like the following versions accepts multiple line breaks:

    • 4.2.7
    • 4.2.6
    • 4.2.5
    • 4.2.4
    • 4.2.3
    • 4.2.1
    • 4.2

    Am I the only one who has this problem?
