    Please note that we have detected a conflict between the latest version of jQuery that was shipped with WordPress 4.5 and some themes that use smooth scrolling. As a result of this, an error is thrown and your maps no longer display.

    Please update WP Google Maps to version 6.3.08 and Pro (if applicable) to 5.68, then go to “Maps” -> “Settings” and check the checkbox labelled “Over-ride current jQuery with version 1.11.3 (Tick this box if you are receiving jQuery related errors after updating to WordPress 4.5)”.

  • Hi there! I have a problem with a custom map style, that I copied to the field themes > custom theme. The theme is a map in grayscale, but WP Google Maps displays 3 colors for the “road style”.
    What can I do, to get rid of the colors?

    It’s alright! Problem solved! I deactivated the “road traffic” function.

    EDIT: fixed it myself. The problem was that the map in the footer was actually the Jetpack plugin which uses Google maps and did not yet have an API key, furthermore in the API settings I forgot to use wildcards in the domain.

    =======================

    All workarounds listed above are not working for me. After WP update the plugin is not working anymore. Tried checking and unchecking all the boxes in settings and cannot find the duplicate API loading in functions.php

    The plugin is loaded in the footer widget of every page and on the contact page:
    <site removed>
