    After updating my wordpress to 4.6 my website became non responsive. Read the article on 4.6 and went through a manual upgrade etc.
    I am now having problems with the easy digital plugins as when i activate them, they deactivate themselves with the error message “The plugin easy-digital-downloads/easy-digital-downloads.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.” Ive contacted Easy Digital Downloads who told me to ask my host to delete my plugins and start from scratch. Did that and reinstalled the plugins and the same error “The plugin easy-digital-downloads/easy-digital-downloads.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.”comes on.
    I don’t know what else to do. please help.
