• On one of my websites I keep getting a warning that I have top update from 5.0.0 to 5.0.1. After I do this and also update the database I get the same notice again. Ho can I get this notice to disappear?

  • Did you try to clear the cache?

Today I updated to 5.0.1 also and am seeing the same message when I attempt to login. The web facing page is OK. This is not an active site yet, and the few installed plugins have been disabled by renaming the plugins foleer.

Cache has been cleared, .htaccess has been reset to default state. This is not good!

@tomaja That is a good question. Last week I replaced WP Super Cache by W3 total cache because of issues with WPML, so I not only need to clear my browser cache flush all caches in W3TC. I have to get used to that…
So far this only give me a white page on /wp-admin but it shows me the direction to detect the problem.
