WordPress 5.3 “Kirk” issue

    Hi,
    I updated to the latest version of WordPress (WordPress 5.3 “Kirk”) and the images no longer open in the Lightbox but they open in a browser page, what can I do? Thanks

    Hello @simobenedettidesign,

    I just tested this on my end with the latest version of WP and it works as it should.
    To make them open in the lightbox you have to link those images to ‘Media file’ in order to work.
    For example: https://gyazo.com/0afca745495c7d5299fc8c1196b1e1a3
    After you do this for your images it will work.

    Hi @mplusb,

    I found the solution: “Gallery Type” in advanced settings must be set to default (“Make a gallery for all images on the page”).

    My settings were “Make a gallery for each gutenberg gallery block” but this option doesn’t seem to work anymore.
