    Hi WP community,

I recently updated to version 5.3 and our site crashed. I have tried the following according to the “Read this first” read and still have the problem. I can’t even log in now. I am on Siteground hosting.

I have already cleared browser cache, including Cloudflare and server
    I can’t log out. (now i can’t log in)
    Can’t install classic editor plugin

Log into your site via FTP or via your hosting services file management tools.

Find the /wp-content/advanced-cache.php file, and remove it or rename it.

    Hi Samuel,

Thanks for the help. I have removed (and downloaded it) the file and the errors have gone away.

Things seem to be okay for now.

Do you think it was a Hummingbird plugin issue?

@mikevendia yes delete it, reported before.

    Thanks, @farhadvn,

I will delete it from all my client’s sites. Bye Bye, birdie.

@mikevendia you can also deactive it and update after fix release, may this week be added. WP update is new so may take a while for bug fixes. (They should do bugfix before main update, however)

    Sounds good, Farhad.

    Thanks.

    Hi @mikevendia,

You do not have /home/cathil49/public_html/wp-content/plugins/hummingbird-performance/core/class-utils.php and other files on your server. Please check the logs why the files were removed during the update.

This is usually related to an auto-update gone wrong. If the host made the update for you, please contact support to get more information.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    Hi @vanyukov

I have since deleted all Hummingbird files a few hours ago. That might be why nothing is showing in the directory/server.

I will test out the plugin again and go from there. Thanks.
