WordPress 5.6 error “t.hasOwnProperty is not a function”

How, we are also having this issue on 4 of our websites.

Learnpress nor wordpress has been updated, and everything has been working fine for us. until this morning. Same error and everyting.

Not sure if its elementor, or just learnpress or a mixture.

I found a fix that worked for a couple of sites. Hopefully it helps others. I edited the file: /wp-content/plugins/learnpress/assets/js/dist/utils.min.js and replaced it with the following (commenting out line 84):

This issue is interfering with adding Featured Images in events.

The above fix worked for me, but obviously it would be best to put through an update.

Following @jessn ‘s solution I looked for the function in the file /wp-content/plugins/learnpress/assets/js/dist/utils.min.js and deleted the code snippet:

” && (h.isEmptyObject = function (t) { var e; for (e in t) if (t.hasOwnProperty (e)) return! 1; return! 0}) ”

and I managed to work correctly. I hope it works for you

I updated Learnpress, that fixed the error, and then I could also upload images again. But then gained my previous issue: that my LearnPress lessons don’t show properly. The lesson is placed in a separate frame partially over the screen, with scrollbars… Not very nice. Rolled back LearnPress to 3.2.7.9, that fixed my new problem, but now, again, I cannot insert media at all. Help!?
