On two of my sites, WordPress updated to 5.6 and now my accordions are not working. When I click on an accordion to open it, I see and extension like “#collapse_6472_1” at the end of the URL. On the site I’m referring to here, I saw this problem yesterday and rolled back to a backup version of the site with the previous WordPress version, and everything was working again. But the site auto-updated overnight, and now my accordions stopped working again.

Is there anything I can do to get them working again? If I roll back to a backup I am going to lose content that was recently added.

Hi, I’m encountering the same situation and wondering how you were able to mitigate this problem. My site didn’t have the “PRO” option before and could still toggle/collapse the menus. Have the features to regular and PRO packages changed?

Absolutely broke all accordions on my site — NON pro account. Cannot even view the content of the collapse content through the plugin page. Has the info been erased from DB?

I am having the same issue, having just noted that my accordions do not open after updating to 5.6. I would greatly appreciate support in getting this fixed asap.

This issue occurs due to the cache plugin. please deactivate this plugin and see if it works.

i’m facing the same issue with open/collapse not working in the free version of this plugin. Here’s my site URL.

For now, they’re set on “open all faq”, but just because otherwise you can’t access the content at all. Do you have any idea how to fix this? The plugin has been updated to the latest version.

You have removed the script from accordion.js. this is not allowed and please add this script in accordion.js and remove it from your file.
