WordPress 6.1.1 compatibility

    Hi: I notice that as of version 3.6.1 of the WP Mail SMTP plugin, the WordPress compatibility is only to WP version 6.0.3. Do you have any advice on whether to update my WordPress to the latest version 6.1.1 that was released on 15 November 2022? All other plugins that I use have updated their version and ensured compatibility with the most recent WordPress version, but for WP Mail SMTP. So I am holding off on my system update for fear of breaking my website. Any guidance on whether compatibility is intact and the timeline for your update would be helpful. Thank you for having developed such a great plugin!

    Thanks for reaching out! As we have tested internally, the WP Mail SMTP plugin is compatible with the WordPress 6.1.1 release.

    Most probably, within the next week or so, we will update the compatibility information.
