WordPress 6.1.1 destroys coding by default. Thank you.
-
I’d just like to say “thank you very much” (not really) for the latest update to wordpress, 6.1.1. It destroyed hundreds of pages of French coding and spacing in my bilingual web site when I updated it earlier today. It did this by forcibly FLIPPING the code editor that I always use to the VISUAL editor that I never use as the default status for the latest wordpress update, chosen by those who don’t have to endure the damage inflicted on the people who have installed it.
Hundreds of pages of meticulous French punctuation and also vertical and horizontal line-spacing to overcome defects in wordpress and in themes, all simply eradicated by an “update”. Thank you. I heard today that there’s a new system out there that’s an improvement on wordpress. I’m going to be looking into it in the New Year.
