I updated to WordPress version 6.6 two days ago, and it turned out that my dropdown menu on the website didn’t work. So, I rolled back to version 6.5.5, updated the other plugins, and waited for a bug fix for version 6.6. However, the system automatically updated to version 6.6 without my consent, which is really annoying.

I use Elementor Pro, and now my dropdown menu doesn’t work anymore. Is there anyone who can help me?

Since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://elementor.com/support/

Forum volunteers do not have access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working correctly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you, but your best bet is your product’s developer. We encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

Having WordPress up-to-date with the latest version is important for your site’s security.

If you do find you need to disable automatic updates while waiting for a fix or plugin update for WP6.6, there is some information on how this can be done in the docs. Alternatively, there are a few plugins available that can make this much easier through the admin.

If disabling automatic updates, just remember to re-enable them as soon as possible to keep your site safe and secure.
