WordPress acting strange with editing posts

    This has been progressively getting worse for months now. As of today, when I’m editing or creating a post, I see the information about the text block to the left. So if I have a text block using H3, I see H3 to the left.

    When I try to select text to make it a link sometimes it will end up highlighting the entire line and make it a link rather than what I want. Then half the time I try to delete text off of a line and it won’t do anything. I’ll have to manually press delete with the cursor on that line.

    I’ve also lost the ability to make a link open in a new tab. Now it just lists the available link options and I have no idea if its a post, page, category, so on.

    Here I show that I’m searching for something but the results just show up as text. I had to blur this sorry.

    I attempted to show the links messed up when editing but that wouldn’t be much help.

    I’ve noticed too that I don’t have much editing abilities over text like I originally had. I can’t justify text either with this menu. Either I changed something or I’m doing it wrong.

    I see icons I’m not familiar with. What plugins are you using on your site? Any plugin that modifies the Editor experience?

    None that I am aware of. A majority of this happened after a WordPress update.

    Can you post here the list of plugins and the theme you are using? I’ll try to reproduce it in my computer.

    I will attempt to do that. Here is another one I’m seeing tonight. I know what this is but not having the entire window is troubling.
