WordPress adding to end of link

Hello,

I have a site where i have created a new page template (landing page). and taken most of the php and wordpress code out so i could have almost a blank page with what ever is adding within wordpress. I have this as my static page of my site so its the first page opened.

I have an empty page wich i call ‘lnew’ which acts as the blog newest post main page. On my theme this is important as it loads the main page of the site with lots of infomation.

But when i add a button on the landing page i have made and link it to the post page. ‘https://tc1.bpafc.com/lnew/’ once the button is clicked by every browser but the one i am using to make the edits wordpress loads this address up instead. ‘https://tc1.bpafc.com/lnew/landing.php’

I cannot see how this is happening. Can anyone help?
