• I am having serious difficulties with my admin area. To actually log into the wordpress admin can take a minute then navigating between pages is often taking at least a minute at a time.
I have not made any changes for a while and updated all my 11 plug ins and then I deactivated them one by one and re-activated 7 of them and deleted 4 of them.
It’s still very slow and there aren’t any problems with any other sites using the same browser.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
P.s The current plug ins are Akismet/Child Themify/Jetpack by WordPress.com/Page Builder by Site Origin/Updraft Plus/W3 Total Cache and Yoast SEO. I deleted Contact Form 7/Facebook Likebox Widget & Shortcode/Lightweight Social Icons and Social Share Buttons by Supsytic – if that helps….

  • This can be due to a lot of things, hosting, your browser or your internet speed. But since you are not having the problem with other sites, might not be your browser or internet speed. One way to confirm this is to create a sub domain and do a fresh installation of WordPress there. If it’s slow there too, then contact your host or move on to another host.

Thanks I will look into that

Try deactivating W3 Total Cache. See if your Admin area is faster now.

If it is faster then, go to the General Settings and disable object cache and see how that works for you.
