WordPress Admin areas are failing

    Hi

    We have a problem with WordPress.

    We have stripped a staging site back to basics, with no plugins enabled.

    The List of users/Plugins (the numbers) are not showing.
    When you hover over Apperance or Pages, no popout submenu shows.
    When I go to Themes, I can’t click on a theme to Update it, and Add New, woin’t load any themes from the WP Repository.
    Add New User: The Generate Pass won’t load, so cannot add user from admin area.

    Any ideas what the cause could be?
