Hi, the plugins works fine, as expected. However, when I enable it, the wp-admin bar shown to admin after login gets hidden. To access dashboard I have to navigate to any other page of site and from there I can access the admin-bar.

I tried to search online, and found it happens due to issues with wp_footer() function, which is found in footer.php of theme files. But it seems no issue with that function.

I also use comet cache on site, but for logged-in users caching is disabled. I will try to erase my cached files and check again if it fixes the issue.

If you or anyone faced similar issue please help.

    Hi @mavrike,
I created an account with the email [email protected]

I can’t see the bar with my current role. If you can put me in a role that would be able to see the bar I could try and test this out.

Hi Fernando, thanks for checking this, I have elevated your role to Author and have checked the box for Toolbar view.

I still don’t see the bar anywhere. I also can’t access the dashboard.

Also, would like to mention that I cleared my comet cache and connected CDN cache, but issue stays same. Weird that it is only on Home / Front page of website, on other pages the admin bar is visible.

OK, I will elevate the access level to administrator for you, so that you can see it, in next 5 mins please try again.

    Hi @mavrike

The problem is that some element in the homepage is not closing properly. So a lot of things are going inside the gdpr-reconsent-modal div. Including the admin bar.

That’s why it is disappearing because the reconsent modal div is hidden when it’s not necessary.

It’s not a plugin problem. It works in other pages.

My suggestion is to review everything that is loaded in the homepage and look for an element that is not being closed correctly. Maybe a <div> or a

      .

Thanks for check Fernando, I also tried to find what might be missing, but so far no luck. As it is not causing any functional issue, I will keep it this way. Once I find solution, I will share here with community. Again, thanks for wonderful plugin and support.

It will cause a problem if you have logged in users that need to re-consent. Since the reconsent window will have a ton of other stuff in it will look super weird.

But if that is not the case…

Thank you for using the plugin. ??
