WordPress admin email address auto subscribed when plugin activated

    I see that whenever the plugin is activated, when clicking on the subscribers tab, it shows the WordPress admin email address is already showing as subscribed and confirmed.

    1. Does the plugin send this email address to you or any external service?
    2. Why is doing that auto subscription addition and confirmation?

    Hi, you’re right, the welcome wizard adds the current user as a test subscriber if not test subscribers are present, that should be an option and notified.

    No data is sent outside, it is just a test subscriber created, so it is easy to make tests for the blog owner. Anyway, since the newsletter composer has now a new way to specify the test address, that could be considered an obsolete setup part.
