WordPress Admin privileges no longer available

    Hi there,

    This is a very strange issue. I’m the admin user and had not made any recent changes within WordPRess, but in my site but I can no longer update plugins, or install new plugins or update themes, etc. It shows me the below error anytime I access the themes, headers, or anything on the Gutenverse menu –

    “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    I only have one user account configured to manage the site. Tools are also no longer listed when trying to access them

    Can someone shed some light about this problem???

    If you have not made any changes to your site and this happened. You may want to check with your hosting and see if they can identify something.

    So I’m confused. Why would the server which is being used be at fault here? No changes were made there either – this clearly appears to be an issue occurring within the WordPress DB. You don’t have any insight or files I can review which may lead me to determining root cause here?

    @mpeterson0418 please go to cpanel and share with me the code of .htaccess file?
