wordpress already installed
-
With Mamp I already have one blog installed locally. I wanted to add a second one. So I created a second folder with the wordpress install files. Created a second database (not table) in phpmyadmin and imported it’s tables which I backupped into it. Went to my second folder to install WordPress. Connected to the second database. When it was finishes it said:
WordPress
Already Installed
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.
Log InWhat have I done wrong? Why won’t it install the second wordpress installation? I know about that table_prefix, but that’s if you have multiple tables in one database. But I have two different databases and connected to the second one. Why does it think I already installed WordPress and won’t continue any further?
